Hand settlement and Left Hand

Have you recently started learning the piano and you struggle to use your left hand comfortably? Do you already play the piano but you don’t move along the keys relaxed and smooth?

Here I bring my article posted at WKMT Blog in which I proposed my experience and knowledge as student of a Scaramuzza’s fellow. I was trained by Bruno Gelber, the brilliant pianist who was taught in the Scaramuzza technique. A powerful technique which gave some of the best pianists.

I have already analysed this technique in previous articles. Analysis that could be easily found at Piano Lessons London website. However, in this case, I usemy experience to talk about the settlement of the hands on the piano, and overall, about the left hand. What I teach all my students in the first lessons is about relax the body, arms and elbows, by getting all the weight on the fingers. Once you get that balance, you will be able to perform easier and more comfortable. You will move smoothly along the keys when playing and you will find both aesthetic and comfort wellness.

Read my full article by clicking on the title above, and learn how to get trained on this wonderful technique.
