We all know folk music, however, do we really know the meaning of folk music nowadays? Do you know the folk music typical from your country? Let’s know more about Folk Music with WKMT.

Anthony Elward, usual writter and collaborator of WKMT UK Music Blog, has recently written an article talking about folk music. Some great details about it and the Celtic music too.

The idea of writting about this topic comes from his recent rehearsals. He is now rehearsing some folk pieces with Avelino Vazquez, one of our colleagues at the studio too, who is a harpsichordist. Both together are working in a repertoire of folk pieces: Anthony with the violin accompanying Avelino with that beautiful and special harpsichord. Something not that common nowadays.

So taking the chance of arranging their next performance in London presenting folk pieces, he decided to mention that in an article while talking about this kind of music that everyone has in their veins.
