“The richness I achieve comes from nature, the source of my inspiration.” Claude Monet

Did you know about the influences of the art in the music? Music is purely art, so no reason to think that music couldn’t be inspired in something else. In this case that we bring to analyse, when the music is inspired by painting styles.

Just going back to Beethoven and Mozart’s scenarios. They composed music mainly inspired by the environment and that era they were living in. In a time that only rich and the high society used to listen music. Surrounded by classic style, precious pieces of art and a very esthetic way of living for the main public. Knowing that not everyone had access to this live music.

Having that in mind, it becomes normal to think that the composers get influenced by the art and society. For that reason we bring this new article to the Blog talking about the inspiration of the Impressionism and Neoclassicism in the classical music. How these two eras of art brought different famous artists and not in painting only but also in the music. Debussy and Ravel are some of the examples. In the first case, he used to compose pieces that makes us think and imagine landscapes, even simulating the sound of the water through the pedalling.
