Have you ever composed something? Did you think about the idea of music composition as something inherited in nature? That makes us think that art is in nature and that’s why it becomes natural for some people.

Gisela Paterno, Composition and Piano Instructor at Piano Lessons London, has recently written an article talking about the idea of music composition throughout the minds and ideas of some genius of the history.

This full article has been split into three chapters by the character:

- Part I — The ideas of Aristotle about Music Composition.

- Part II — Music Composition and Edgar Allan Poe

- Part III — Composing with Stravinsky.

It is quite interesting as it makes think about music from different points of view. Not only coming from a musician as it is in the third part of this article but also understanding the idea of composition through philosophical thoughts or ideas coming from a horror writer.

It is not the first time Gisela writes about composition, as it is her true passion. That way helps out all her students and WKMT Students to fully understand the composition of music.

Go to the link aforementioned and read the full articles. These three chapters that show the conceptions of music and art by these three great historic men. If you have some other ideas or points of view such as these from any other, we would love to hear from that.
